Overview:
Peanut Gallery is a multiplayer interactive experience designed for the Holland-Bloorview Children's Hospital. The game is designed to work with the hospital's unique "Screen-space" interface, a device that tracks children's movements and reflects this as input in the game world, similar to the Kinect. This device resides in the waiting room of the hospital, so that children may play while waiting for their appointments.
Children are tasked with knocking over large targets, and bags of peanuts spread out through the map. They achieve this buy roaming across the map; their controls reflect the tiles of the screenplay device at the hospital. Each column of tiles control one specific arrow. Each column consists of a 1 x 10 layout, where players control the height of their designated arrow.
Players can use the traps in order to knock over multiple targets rather than wasting more arrows.
